Lenses

A Varifocal lens allows the installer to adjust the field of view
(zoom) to meet the needs of the application. Unlike a motorized
zoom lens, a varifocal lens cannot be remotely adjusted. The
advantage of the varifocal is that it is much lower cost than a
zoom lens. The SLA series of varifocal lenses are high quality IR
corrected auto iris lenses that are well suited for use with the
high resolution Samsung Techwin cameras. The SLA-3580DN
utilizes special low dispersion glass elements developed by
Samsung Techwin specifically for Day & Night use. All of these
lenses feature high optical performance without the ghosting or
aberrations found in or binary varifocal lenses.

The SLA-880 C-mount lens offers full motorized zoom and
focus operation. Equipped with a powerful 10X optical zoom,
the lens is ideal for applications requiring high quality long range
viewing. A built-in auto iris adjustment by video connection
allows installation in areas with changing light conditions.
